On the European roulette wheel, there are only 37 numbers, from 1 to 36 and one zero pocket. The roulette wheel consists of alternating red and black sectors, as well as one or more green zeros (depending on the roulette variation). Again as an outside bet the spaces on which you can put your chips to make this bet are outside of the main number grid. This means betting that the pill will land in the pocket of one of the first four numbers on the grid – 0, 1, 2, or 3. A square or corner bet as it is also known is one where the player predicts that the pill will land in one of four numbered pockets. A straight bet is when you choose a specific number pocket (0,00, 1-36) for the pill to fall into in the wheel.
\nAs a 5-chip bet, it is known as “zero spiel naca” and includes, in addition to the chips placed as noted above, a straight-up on number 19. This is a name, more accurately “grands voisins du z\u00e9ro”, for the 17 numbers that lie between 22 and 25 on the wheel, including 22 and 25 themselves. An “announced bet” is a bet called by the player for which they immediately place enough money to cover the amount of the bet on the table, prior to the outcome of the spin or hand in progress being known.
\nHowever, any bet made by putting chips on any other area of this table that is not the main grid is known as an outside bet. Two main types of bets can be made at a roulette table, known as inside and outside bets. They differ in that the European Style has 37 pockets on the wheel and the number goes from 0 to 36.<\/p>\n

The aim of any roulette game is to predict which pocket the pill will land in on any given spin. Players place chips on the number, section, color or odds or events to make a bet. Often round for smaller denominations and rectangular for larger ones, poker chips are used to place bets on the roulette table. To place the bet, it is necessary to select the field of the corresponding colour on the outside bets layout. The probability of winning is 6 in 37, or about 16.2%. This bet reduces risk compared to the street but remains an inside bet.
\nThe French style table with a wheel in the centre and a layout on either side is rarely found outside of Monte Carlo. The European-style layout has a single zero, and the beef casino<\/a> American style layout is usually a double-zero. In ranges from 11 to 18 and 29 to 36, odd numbers are black and even are red.<\/p>\n
